Area Manager – Hospitality & Retail (Scotland)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established restaurant group to find an ambitious Area Manager to oversee multiple hospitality and retail sites across Scotland. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing store managers, and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Store/Restaurant Managers to achieve performance targets.
• Conduct regular site visits focusing on health & safety, customer satisfaction, productivity versus payroll, and commercial standards.
• Analyse regional performance data and implement strategies to improve people and business metrics.
• Identify training needs, support succession planning and ensure full compliance with company policies and HR procedures.

Required profile

• Current experience as an Area, Cluster or Regional Manager.
• Strong background in a customer‑focused, people‑led environment such as hospitality, restaurants, QSR or retail.
• Proven track record of building high‑performing teams and driving profitability.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
• Ideally based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness or Aberdeen.
