Area Manager, Night Shift

About the role

The Area Manager, Night Shift will lead a team at Amazon's Bognor Regis facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations during the night shift. You will be responsible for maintaining productivity, driving continuous improvement, and upholding Amazon’s standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and promote a culture of safety and well‑being across the shift.
• Analyze performance data and implement changes to keep quality and productivity consistently high.
• Lead projects that streamline processes, optimise productivity, and improve service quality.
• Monitor shift performance against business objectives and initiate actions for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior managers to standardise shift practices and drive best‑in‑class operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven people‑management experience, including coaching and mentoring new managers.
• Strong communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
• Ability to use data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
