Area Sales Manager - Boilers & Renewables

About the role

This is a field‑based sales position responsible for promoting a high‑quality range of water‑heating solutions, including boilers, renewables, heat pumps, cylinders, biomass boilers and air heaters across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and grow existing accounts with plumbing & heating installers, contractors and merchants.
• Sell directly to independent and national merchants, maintaining a balanced 50/50 split between account management and new‑business development.
• Collaborate with the wider sales team and Sales Director to achieve significant territory growth.
• Maintain a strong pipeline, meet sales targets and contribute to the overall regional strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling plumbing & heating products to installers and contractors (experience in renewables, oil or cylinders is a plus).
• Background in manufacturing sales with a stable career history.
• Demonstrated success in field sales and territory management.
• Self‑motivated, trustworthy and a strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Knowledge of boiler systems and renewable heating technologies.
• Understanding of heat pump and biomass boiler operation.
