Area Sales Manager – Care & Healthcare (Southeast)

About the role

This is a home‑based, full‑time position managing the Southeast territory for a specialist provider of nurse‑call and alerting systems used in care homes and hospitals. You will own a defined patch covering Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Reading, building lasting relationships with healthcare customers.

Key responsibilities

• Visit care homes and hospitals to assess needs and design appropriate alarm and communication systems.
• Develop a balanced pipeline using warm leads from marketing/outbound teams and self‑generated business.
• Maintain a consultative, relationship‑focused sales approach rather than cold, pushy tactics.
• Manage your own diary, travel schedule and territory as if it were your own business.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the region’s revenue growth.

Required profile

• Proven B2B field sales or account‑management experience, preferably within a defined geographic territory.
• Comfortable working independently and self‑directed.
• Experience selling technical or hardware solutions to the healthcare sector is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong consultative selling ability.
• Ability to understand and articulate technical product specifications.
• Effective relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
