About the role

Join Brakes as an Area Sales Manager covering the Exeter, Taunton and Yeovil region. This home‑based, field‑focused position offers a competitive salary up to £34,000 plus uncapped bonus, a company car or allowance, and flexible holiday purchase options.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong relationships with independent sector customers.
• Grow and retain accounts, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
• Partner with customers to understand their growth plans and provide tailored solutions.
• Monitor competitor activity and ensure Brakes offers the best local solutions.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on new customer requirements and handovers.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in the local market.
• Adopt and promote Brakes’ modernisation programme and new technology tools.
