Art Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑time)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting an Art Teacher for a mixed secondary school in Dartford. The role starts in September 2026 and is a permanent, full‑time position within a supportive and collaborative department.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess the art curriculum for secondary students.
- Contribute to departmental planning, delivery and assessment alongside NQTs and experienced teachers.
- Participate in pastoral duties and a range of CPD sessions.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Creative, patient and able to think outside the box.
- Previous teaching experience (science background noted, but art teaching experience preferred).
- Right to work in the UK and a valid DBS certificate.
- Willingness to provide references.
