Asbestos Project Manager – Permanent

About the role

We are looking for an Asbestos Project Manager to lead the design, planning and delivery of asbestos remedial programmes for a large affordable‑housing provider. The role is permanent and based in Bracknell, with travel across the organisation’s geographical area.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, scope, produce and manage asbestos remediation programmes from inception to delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, delivering works on time and within cost.
• Carry out audit inspections to verify that works meet agreed specifications, quality standards and health & safety legislation.
• Provide excellent customer care, handling queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Record and report risks, issues and lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
• Complete stock compliance survey audits and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Minimum BOHS P402, or P403 & P404 (or equivalent) certification with demonstrable asbestos experience in a housing association, contractor or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos risk management, CDM and asbestos regulations, and statutory obligations in the construction and housing sectors.
• Project Management qualification (desirable, training can be provided).
• Full driving licence with access to a car and willingness to travel.
