Assistant Bakery Manager – Retail Food

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to support our team at Gail's in the Oxford area. You will lead by example, helping to build a confident, skilled crew while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations, including production, stock control and customer service.
• Motivate and develop team members, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Handle cash, manage inventory and support ordering processes.
• Step in to resolve any operational challenges that arise during the shift.
