Assistant Bodyshop Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Bodyshop Manager to support the daily operations of a busy automotive accident repair workshop in Bristol. This full‑time position works closely with the Centre Manager to ensure efficient workflow, high quality standards and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily productivity of the bodyshop, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting KPIs.
• Liaise with the Centre Manager and team to optimise processes and allocate work.
• Communicate with customers to understand repair requirements and provide updates.
• Monitor workshop performance, quality control and health & safety compliance.
• Plan and assign tasks based on team members’ skills and identify training needs.
• Oversee vehicle progress, coordinating between workshop and reception.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing or assisting in an automotive accident repair workshop.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Results‑oriented with problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Focus on quality, reliability and customer service.
• UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Residency within reasonable commuting distance to Bristol.
