Join a dynamic regional theatre organization in Newcastle upon Tyne for an exciting seasonal project. We are looking for a passionate and organized Assistant Director to play a key role in our upcoming Christmas production of "The Borrowers," creating magic for families and young audiences.

Missions principales

• Provide high-level artistic and operational support to the Artistic Director throughout the production process.
• Assist professional actors in character development and performance excellence.
• Direct and lead rehearsals, ensuring the creative vision is maintained.
• Manage and coordinate a large cast of performers to ensure seamless ensemble work.
• Contribute to the creation of engaging, high-quality theatrical experiences specifically tailored for families and children.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience or a strong academic background in theatre directing or performance.
• Ability to manage large groups of people in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with professional actors and artistic leadership.
• A passion for family-oriented theatre and storytelling.
