Assistant Manager – Fashion Retail (Padstow)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a growing fashion retail business in Padstow. You will support the Store Manager in delivering strong commercial results while creating an engaging environment for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPI performance.
• Lead, coach and motivate the retail team to deliver results.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high visual‑merchandising standards.
• Manage stock, deliveries and replenishment processes.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
• Take ownership of store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in retail.
• Background in fashion, lifestyle, footwear, accessories, beauty or premium retail.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPI results.
• Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams.
• Ability to provide an outstanding customer experience.
