Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring an Assistant Manager for its George Street store in Edinburgh. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through analysis and customer service, overseeing daily store operations, and leading the team from recruitment and training to engagement and development. Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines
• Supervise the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations
• Handle staffing, scheduling, payroll and train and develop non-management staff
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales
• Build and maintain visual displays and protect store assets
• Analyse reporting to inform decisions and operate register and point-of-sale systems
• Fulfil omni-channel orders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Strong customer focus, work ethic, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to coach others
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment
