About the role

JD Sports is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering a premium customer experience and achieving ambitious sales targets. You will work on the shop floor, motivate the team, and help drive operational excellence in a fast‑paced, globally recognised sports fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations, focusing on sales targets and core KPIs.
• Lead and guide colleagues on the shop floor, allocating tasks and ensuring high standards of service.
• Maintain JD Sports visual and operational standards throughout each shift.
• Assist in coaching, training, and developing team members to improve performance.
• Contribute to stock management, merchandising, and loss prevention activities.
• Help analyse sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
