Assistant Manager – Retail (Full‑time, 12‑month FTC)

About the role

Join Savers as an Assistant Manager in Yarm, supporting a busy retail environment and delivering excellent customer experiences. This 12‑month fixed‑term role offers a flexible shift pattern across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store teams to achieve sales targets and high service standards.
• Maintain a welcoming, supportive store atmosphere and encourage idea sharing.
• Build relationships with the local community and represent the store at events.
• Manage daily operations, including stock control, merchandising and cash handling.
• Identify opportunities to maximise sales and improve store performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong delegation and organisational abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for people.
