About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in a fast‑growing retail environment in Twickenham. You will help drive turnover, maintain high standards of customer service and ensure operational efficiency across the store.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of a department and act as Duty Manager when the Store Manager is absent.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving financial KPIs such as wages, wastage and shrinkage.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and uphold store presentation, stock control and compliance standards.
- Maintain health and safety policies and use management information to inform strategic decisions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Strong leadership, planning, organisational and communication abilities.
- Target‑driven, customer‑focused and highly motivated.
- Self‑starter with a “can‑do” attitude and willingness to work on the shop floor.
