Assistant Tax Manager – London

About the role

Join a fast‑growing tax team within a FTSE 250 company operating in over 40 countries. As an Assistant Tax Manager you will support UK corporate tax reporting and compliance while gaining exposure to international tax initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UK tax reporting processes for year‑end and interim periods, ensuring alignment with Group requirements.
• Manage UK tax compliance, including CT600 and CT61 filings, CFC reviews and SAO support.
• Own UK tax forecasting and modelling, covering deferred tax, Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) and withholding tax (WHT).
• Prepare tax accounting entries and disclosures for UK statutory financial statements.
• Support global tax projects such as Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) and OECD Pillar 2 compliance.
• Contribute to tax audits, uncertain tax positions and WHT processes, identifying improvements to systems and controls.

Required profile

• ACA, CTA or ACCA qualified (or part‑qualified nearing completion) with Big 4, Top 10 or in‑house corporate tax experience.
• Strong project‑management abilities and stakeholder communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship offered).
