Associate Architect - Life Science & Healthcare

About the role

An architectural practice specialising in Life Science and Healthcare projects is recruiting an Associate Architect to join its Epsom office. The role leads multi-disciplinary teams on life science and healthcare projects, delivers work in line with ISO 9001 and 14001 compliance, quality management and sustainability standards, and secures new business through existing client networks, frameworks and direct submissions in public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams on life science and healthcare projects
• Deliver projects in line with ISO 9001 and 14001 compliance, quality management and sustainability standards
• Secure new business through existing client networks, frameworks and direct submissions
• Oversee design delivery while ensuring compliance with building regulations, health and safety and sustainability requirements
• Conduct client presentations and act as a key point of contact for strategic project growth

Required profile

• Experienced architect with a strong focus on Life Science / Healthcare in the UK
• Proven ability to work directly with clients and help develop business for the practice
• Experience in project management, frameworks and business development
• Ideally based locally to Epsom or within commuting distance

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific regulations, client engagement and multi-disciplinary team leadership
