Associate, Corporate Communications

About the role

The Associate, Corporate Communications supports the Associate Director, Head of External Communications in shaping and delivering the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) corporate communications strategy. Based in London, the role focuses on enhancing the Bank’s visibility and reputation across G7 markets and key international media outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing corporate communications strategies that align with the Bank’s strategic priorities.
• Provide strategic communications counsel to senior internal stakeholders.
• Strengthen relationships with top‑tier international media and journalists, especially in G7 countries.
• Support media planning and execution for high‑level official visits and major events such as the World Economic Forum, UN Climate Conferences, and the EBRD Annual Meeting.
• Identify and secure high‑profile media opportunities, including interviews and press briefings.
• Prepare briefing materials, talking points, speeches, and Q&A documents for senior leadership.
• Develop and implement integrated digital communications plans to maximise engagement.
• Produce multimedia content (videos, photography, social media assets) to illustrate the Bank’s impact.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate communications and media relations.
• Experience working with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑visibility projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
