Associate Director – Business Intelligence (London/Hybrid)

About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and scale a growing Business Intelligence function within a high‑performing media and marketing environment. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes through data‑focused insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the day‑to‑day delivery of BI products, including dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Assess existing reporting frameworks and identify opportunities to improve structure, scalability and impact.
• Design and build high‑quality dashboards covering marketing performance metrics such as clicks, impressions and conversions.
• Support onboarding of new client projects, delivering tailored reporting solutions from discovery through deployment.
• Develop and enhance templating approaches, introducing advanced capabilities such as forecasting.
• Integrate broader client business data to provide holistic insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure outputs meet technical and commercial needs.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the BI function.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience delivering BI and reporting solutions within a marketing or media environment.
• Expertise in Looker and Data Studio for dashboarding; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with platforms such as BigQuery.
• Proven ability to work with marketing performance data and translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Confidence managing multiple projects and stakeholders with clear communication.
• Interest in AI and its application to analytics or reporting workflows.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
• Additional experience with Python or R is advantageous.
