Associate – Fintech M&A – Financial Services Tech & Services

About the role
This associate position supports a well‑established Fintech team that is expanding rapidly. You will work on a variety of M&A transactions within the financial services technology and services sector, collaborating with senior bankers and external advisers.
Key responsibilities
- Execute M&A transactions, including takeovers, acquisitions, divestitures and related activities.
- Prepare marketing materials and pitch specific M&A ideas to clients.
- Develop financial and valuation models for potential deals.
- Conduct industry and market research to support transaction rationale.
- Identify and contact potential buyers or acquisition targets.
- Draft and contribute to transaction documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent from a top university.
- Strong interest in specialising in Fintech M&A.
- Experience as a TMT, Tech or Fintech banker with solid M&A training and deal exposure.
- Excellent numerical, analytical and project‑management abilities.
- High interpersonal skills for working across multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
