Associate – Fintech M&A – Financial Services Tech & Services

About the role

This associate position supports a well‑established Fintech team that is expanding rapidly. You will work on a variety of M&A transactions within the financial services technology and services sector, collaborating with senior bankers and external advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute M&A transactions, including takeovers, acquisitions, divestitures and related activities.
• Prepare marketing materials and pitch specific M&A ideas to clients.
• Develop financial and valuation models for potential deals.
• Conduct industry and market research to support transaction rationale.
• Identify and contact potential buyers or acquisition targets.
• Draft and contribute to transaction documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent from a top university.
• Strong interest in specialising in Fintech M&A.
• Experience as a TMT, Tech or Fintech banker with solid M&A training and deal exposure.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and project‑management abilities.
• High interpersonal skills for working across multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
