Associate Fire Engineer

About the role

Due to a growing and diverse portfolio, RLB is seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to join its London team. You will work within a multi‑disciplinary consultancy providing fire safety guidance to public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and manage a team of fire consultants.
• Provide fire safety advice, guidance and training to clients.
• Develop and deliver fire risk assessments, fire engineering services and building safety management.
• Liaise with enforcing authorities and represent clients where required.
• Contribute to bid documents, quality assurance and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Level 5 qualification in fire discipline (minimum).
• Robust knowledge of UK fire safety legislation.
• Proven experience in delivering fire engineering projects and managing teams.
• Membership of IFE/IFSM or equivalent professional body.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to develop new business.
