Associate Manager, Financial Accounting and Control

About the role

The Associate Manager, Financial Accounting and Control will prepare, develop and analyse financial information to support senior management decision‑making at the London Stock Exchange Group. This role combines core accounting expertise with cross‑division collaboration to help drive stability, growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close processes, ensuring accurate P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and meeting all Group deadlines.
• Onboard additional scope and align processes with the Target Operating Model.
• Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiations.
• Support external audit activities, liaising with auditors to address queries.
• Maintain internal controls in line with Group policies and the financial control framework.
• Participate in Group projects, implementing new systems and processes.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Entity Accountants, Financial Controllers, Group Reporting and Statutory Reporting teams as a Finance CoE member.

Required profile

• Professional accounting degree with at least 4 years of general accounting experience.
• Proven track record in processing core accounting transactions and consolidations.
• Experience in a finance shared‑services environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work UK business hours and adapt to a fast‑changing environment.
