Associate Solicitor – Real Estate

About the role

HF is seeking a senior associate solicitor with real‑estate expertise to join its expanding Real Estate team in London. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office, and involves managing a varied portfolio of property matters for leading private banks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage property lending transactions, including client reporting and loan security.
• Oversee development projects: purchase of large sites, funding, and disposal.
• Handle commercial landlord and tenant matters.
• Facilitate acquisition, financing, management, and sale of commercial or mixed‑use investment properties.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear, commercial‑focused advice.
• Generate new business through networking, industry outreach, and delivering presentations.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with senior‑level experience in real‑estate law.
• Proven track record handling property lending, development finance, and commercial leasing.
• Experience working with banking clients, particularly private banks.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
• Existing network of industry contacts and confidence in business‑development activities.
