About the role

We are looking for an Audit & Accounts Assistant to support our audit and accounts teams in Fareham. You will work on a mixed portfolio of clients, both on‑site at our office and at client premises, helping to deliver high‑quality audit and tax services.

Key responsibilities

Assist with audit assignments for a variety of clients.
Examine financial statements and prepare accounts.
Prepare corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
Use accounting software to support audit and bookkeeping tasks.

Required profile

1‑2 years of UK audit and accounts experience in practice.
AAT Level 4 qualification or working towards it (preferred).
Graduates or college leavers with a relevant accounting/finance qualification are also considered.

Required skills

Proficiency with Xero.
Familiarity with CCH.
Experience using Sage.
Knowledge of QuickBooks.
