Audit & Accounts Senior – Hybrid (Pinner)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established UK accountancy group to find an Audit & Accounts Senior for their Pinner office. The role combines audit and accounts work for a varied portfolio of SMEs, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, offering strong client exposure and progression within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver audit and accounts work across a mixed client portfolio.
• Assist with the planning, execution and completion of audits.
• Lead smaller audits and take responsibility for sections of larger assignments.
• Identify audit risks and escalate key matters appropriately.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts.
• Oversee corporation tax and VAT compliance work.
• Act as the day‑to‑day contact for clients.
• Supervise, coach and review junior team members.
• Support managers with workflow and assignment planning.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience within a UK practice environment.
• Strong audit and accounts preparation background.
• Proven ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.
• Good technical knowledge with attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
