Audit and Accounts Senior

About the role

As a senior member of the audit and accounts team, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them achieve their business objectives. The role offers exposure to a range of sectors and the chance to influence strategic decisions through high‑quality audit and accounting advice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory, management and ad‑hoc accounts for clients.
• Plan, budget, and finalise audit files while managing the audit process from start to finish.
• Collaborate with partners and the wider team to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Delegate work, mentor trainees and support their professional development.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and challenge existing methodologies.
• Assist managers and partners with portfolio work and special projects.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset with a commercial approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, determined attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with Iris (advantageous but not essential).
