Audit Manager – Professional Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for a professional services firm. The role involves overseeing the full audit lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high‑quality service to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audit engagements from start to finish.
• Review audit files to guarantee accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Supervise, train and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Identify risks, propose solutions and ensure audits are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve audit processes and share best practices.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
• Proven experience managing audit teams and client portfolios.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
