About the role

Pro‑Finance, an independent accountancy firm in Witney, is seeking an experienced Audit Responsible Individual (RI) to lead a substantial audit portfolio. This hybrid position offers a senior leadership influence on quality, people, systems and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a significant audit portfolio.
• Serve as the primary relationship lead for audit clients.
• Drive audit quality, compliance and best‑practice standards.
• Improve audit systems, processes and methodologies.
• Mentor, develop and strengthen the audit team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on audit strategy.
• Help expand the firm’s audit presence in the market.

Required profile

• Current RI status at your present firm.
• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Extensive UK accountancy practice audit experience.
• Proven experience managing audit portfolios.
• Track record of leading and developing audit teams.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102 audit standards.
• Quality‑focused and commercially minded approach.
