Audit RI Partner

About the role

We are seeking an Audit RI Partner to join a rapidly expanding practice in Oxford. This senior position offers hybrid working, equity potential and a clear route to board‑level influence as the firm targets a Top 20 challenger status.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Responsible Individual (RI) across a varied audit client portfolio.
• Lead and develop audit teams during a period of sustained growth and acquisition activity.
• Support integration and standardisation of newly acquired firms.
• Build long‑term relationships with entrepreneurial and mid‑market clients.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives and operational development.
• Drive audit quality, compliance and best practice across the wider business.
• Mentor and develop future leaders within the audit team.
• Contribute to business development and market positioning within the accountancy sector.

Required profile

• Strong external audit experience gained within a practice environment.
• Current RI status or senior audit professional close to obtaining RI.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and lead audit engagements.
• Experience supporting integration of acquired businesses is desirable.
