Audit Semi‑Senior – Join an Independent Firm

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Audit Semi‑Senior to support our growing independent chartered accountancy practice in the Colchester area. This role offers a blend of audit, accounts and tax work, giving you a broader skill set and direct exposure to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and LLPs.
• Assist with or prepare self‑assessment tax returns.
• Support the preparation of corporation tax returns.
• Work closely with clients to build strong professional relationships.
• Collaborate directly with senior partners, receiving mentorship and development opportunities.

Required profile

• Currently employed in an audit‑led practice role.
• Some experience in accounts preparation is essential.
• AAT qualified (or equivalent) and either starting or studying for ACCA/ACA.
• Eager to broaden skill set and progress within a supportive environment.
