Audit Senior – Beaconsfield

About the role

Pro‑Finance is seeking an Audit Senior to join its Beaconsfield office. You will own audit engagements from start to finish, act as the main client contact, and help develop junior team members while delivering high‑quality work on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Supervise and review the work of junior staff.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the audit process.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK standards.
• Assess risk, evaluate internal controls, and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and auditing standards.
• Deliver audits efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard.

Required profile

• Experience in an accountancy practice focused on audit.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and UK auditing standards.
• Proven ability to lead audits and manage workflow.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients.
• ACA/ACCA qualified, part‑qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Exposure to complex work such as group audits, acquisitions, IFRS, or restructures is a plus.
