Audit Senior – Hybrid & Flexible Working

About the role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join our growing independent accountancy firm in Guildford. The role offers hybrid and flexible working and provides exposure to a varied portfolio of UK clients, including large and complex organisations. You will work closely with the Audit Manager and partners to deliver high‑quality audit services while building long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit assignments for a range of UK clients.
• Lead on‑site audit teams, ensuring audit conclusions are based on thorough understanding of processes, risks and controls.
• Coordinate with the Audit Manager and senior stakeholders to meet client deliverables and deadlines.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide insights to support their ongoing development.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior/Accountant, based in or commutable to Guildford.
• Strong, up‑to‑date audit experience, preferably within a top‑10 or top‑20 firm.
• Ability to build long‑term business relationships with clients.
• Motivation to work in an independent firm that values autonomy and work‑life balance.
