Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit and audit/accounts clients across various sectors.
• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Review statutory accounts, audit files and related client work.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
• Provide practical, commercial advice to owner‑managed businesses.
• Coach, manage and develop junior team members.
• Support business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic decision‑making within the firm.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Significant experience in an accountancy practice, primarily in audit or a mix of audit and accounts.
• Strong technical and client‑facing abilities.
• Proven experience managing teams and reviewing work.
• Commercial awareness and leadership potential.
• Motivation to progress to Responsible Individual and partnership level.
• Willingness to work from the Nantwich office.
