Audit Senior – Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA – £47k-£53k

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified Audit Senior to join a modern chartered accountancy firm in Guildford. The successful candidate will take full ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working alongside experienced managers and partners. This position offers a hybrid and flexible working model within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and deliver audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, groups and not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the audit process, communicating progress and findings.
• Identify audit risks and provide practical, commercial recommendations.
• Review and support the work of junior team members, ensuring high‑quality audit files are produced on schedule.
• Collaborate closely with managers and partners to meet client expectations and firm standards.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification (newly qualified or close to qualification).
• Experience in audit practice, preferably with exposure to a range of client types.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build long‑term client relationships.
