Automotive Technician – Full‑time, London

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Automotive Technician to join a reputable car dealership in London. The successful candidate will diagnose, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles and identify faults.
• Perform diagnostics using specialised equipment.
• Carry out servicing, component replacement and repairs.
• Complete quality checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with service advisors and workshop team to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Relevant automotive qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) preferred.
• Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar workshop role.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate a range of vehicles safely.
