AV Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AV Project Engineer to take ownership of the technical delivery of audio‑visual projects for our clients in Leeds. You will work closely with project managers, engineering teams and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight from project conception through installation and hand‑over.
• Develop and refine Bills of Materials, cable and consumables lists, and AV line schematics.
• Create engineering and architectural drawings, elevation drawings and rack layouts using Visio, AutoCAD or Stardraw.
• Conduct site surveys, attend client and contractor meetings, and communicate infrastructure requirements.
• Act as the first point of escalation for onsite engineering issues.
• Ensure the allocated technical staff have the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate products and solutions.

Required profile

• Security clearance or willingness to apply.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
