AWS Data Engineer

About the role

Join a growing engineering capability within a people‑focused consultancy, delivering large‑scale data and cloud transformation programmes for enterprise clients. You will work on modern data platforms, cloud‑native solutions and innovative analytics, collaborating with architects, consultants and delivery leads.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver defined work packages and technical tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, schedule and troubleshoot batch and micro‑batch data pipelines.
• Support and enhance cloud‑based data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Manage API integrations and database connectivity.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and wider project teams to solve technical challenges.
• Contribute to team planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues in an agile engineering setting.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data engineering, including Python.
• Experience working with AWS ETL services and managing data in AWS S3.
• Familiarity with GitLab or similar source‑control and DevOps platforms.
• Experience using Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure‑as‑Code technologies.
• Proven ability to support production systems and live service environments.
• Active SC Clearance is required.
