AWS Data Engineer – Up to £95,000

About the role

Join a growing engineering capability within a people‑focused consultancy environment. This role offers the chance to work on large‑scale data and cloud transformation programmes for enterprise clients, delivering modern data platforms, cloud‑native solutions and innovative analytics capabilities. You will collaborate with architects, consultants, support engineers and delivery leads to develop, maintain and enhance data solutions across cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver defined work packages and technical tasks within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, schedule and troubleshoot batch and micro‑batch data pipelines.
• Support and enhance cloud‑based data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Manage API integrations and database connectivity.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and wider project teams to solve problems.
• Contribute to team planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data engineering, including Python.
• Experience with AWS ETL services and data stored in AWS S3.
• Familiarity with GitLab or similar source‑control and DevOps platforms.
• Experience using Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure‑as‑Code technologies.
• Proven ability to support production systems and live services.
• Active SC clearance is mandatory.
