Azure & Databricks Engineer – Hybrid, Southampton

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Azure/Databricks Engineer to join a high‑profile cloud and data delivery programme. The role is hybrid, with office attendance in Southampton each Wednesday.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions using Azure and Databricks.
• Build, maintain and optimise data pipelines and related software components.
• Develop Databricks modules leveraging Scala and Spark.
• Support DevSecOps practices, automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Azure cloud services and Databricks.
• Strong programming background in Scala and Python.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
