Azure Programme Manager – Cloud Migration

About the role

A leading professional services organisation is looking for an experienced Azure Programme Manager to lead a major infrastructure transformation, migrating on-premise data centres to Microsoft Azure. The role is based in London with 2 days onsite per week, runs for 6 months and starts as soon as possible. It is delivery-focused rather than hands-on technical.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a complex Azure cloud migration programme.
• Manage project budgets (£500k-£3m), timelines, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate infrastructure teams, third-party suppliers and migration workstreams.
• Engage senior stakeholders, providing clear programme reporting and governance.
• Ensure a successful migration with minimal disruption to business operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure project/programme management experience.
• Proven delivery of data centre to Azure or hybrid cloud migrations.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder, supplier and budget management skills.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• PRINCE2/Agile certification and experience in professional services or regulated environments is a bonus.
