Bakery Operative – Cake Production

About the role
We are seeking a Bakery Operative to join our cake production team at a leading UK desserts manufacturer. The role involves preparing, decorating and presenting cakes to the highest standards and ensuring they are ready for dispatch to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and decorate cakes according to company standards.
- Package finished products and ready them for delivery.
- Follow instructions from the Production Manager for additional tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the production area.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Good eye for detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to be flexible with working hours, especially during busy periods.
- Full training will be provided.
