Band 3 Ward Administrator – Part‑time (30 hrs/week)

About the role

Join a dynamic team at Savernake Hospital as a Band 3 Ward Administrator. In this part‑time position you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth journey from admission to discharge across the BSW Community Hospitals network.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to keep the ward operating efficiently.
• Support care coordination by managing patient flow and documentation from admission through discharge.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records throughout the care pathway.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, colleagues and external partners via phone, email and post.
• Work proactively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Manage complex or sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.

• Professional demeanor when dealing with confidential information.
