Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

About the role

Randstad Care is seeking experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) for Band 5 block bookings across a range of inpatient mental health settings in Carlisle. The role offers flexible day or night shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients in acute male/female, older adult, and learning disability wards.
• Follow established protocols for medication administration, patient observation, and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.
• Adhere to health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding policies.
• Participate in handovers and maintain accurate patient records.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
• Previous experience in inpatient mental health environments.
• PMVA / restraint training (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Reliable, compassionate, and adaptable attitude.
