Band 6 Health Visitor – South East Surrey

About the role

Join the HCRG Care Group as a Band 6 Health Visitor in South East Surrey. You will work within a multidisciplinary Healthy Family Team delivering the Healthy Child Programme, supporting children and families across Redhill and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead public health initiatives for the health‑visiting skill‑mixed team within the assigned locality.
• Deliver the Universal Partnership Plus reach of the Healthy Child Programme, creating tailored support plans for families.
• Collaborate with paediatricians, speech‑and‑language therapists, dietitians and other partners to achieve optimal child health outcomes.
• Provide health promotion, early identification of safeguarding concerns and parenting support.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement within the Healthy Family Teams.

Required profile

• Registered Health Visitor with relevant NHS qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience working with children, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commitment to the NHS values and to improving health outcomes for children.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme and public health principles.
• Ability to assess family needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Experience collaborating with clinical and community partners.
