About the role
Day Webster is recruiting two Band 8a Sonographers for weekend coverage at a hospital in Portsmouth. The positions are focused on antenatal and general sonography, with the possibility of weekday shifts. The role starts as soon as possible and is ongoing.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality sonographic examinations during weekend shifts.
- Cover both antenatal and general imaging requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely diagnosis.
Required profile
- Registered with the appropriate UK health professional body.
- FNA‑trained with experience in head and neck sonography.
- Ability to work independently during weekend hours.
- Willingness to undertake occasional weekday duties if required.
