About the role

This casual, part‑time position offers flexible working in a Barchester care home. As a Bank Care Assistant you will help residents enjoy each day by providing high‑quality personal care, companionship and support.

Key responsibilities

Assist residents with food, drink and daily living activities.
Follow individual care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met.
Provide one‑to‑one time and emotional support to promote wellbeing.
Support the care team by covering shifts for annual leave, sick leave or other absences.
Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents.

Required profile

Experience caring for older people.
Can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
Empathetic, warm‑hearted and compassionate approach.
