Bank Chef – Care Home Kitchen (Full‑time Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a Bank Chef for Stanely Park Care Home in Paisley. The role is full‑time and temporary, providing residents with nutritious, tasty meals that support their wellbeing in a modern 40‑bed care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high‑quality meals in line with individual dietary requirements and nutritional standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and presentation standards throughout the kitchen.
• Assist with menu planning, ingredient ordering and stock control.
• Collaborate with the care team to tailor meals to resident preferences.
• Keep the kitchen area clean, organised and compliant with health regulations.

Required profile

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 certification or equivalent, or working towards a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Positive, reliable attitude.

Required skills

• Food hygiene and safety certification (City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or Basic Food Hygiene).
