About the role

As a Bank Community Carer you will provide high‑quality, child‑centred care to children with complex medical needs in the community and in their own homes across Surrey. The role is flexible, allowing you to self‑book shifts and adapt duties to the evolving needs of the families you support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate personal care to children with complex medical conditions.
• Support families by assisting with daily routines, medication administration, and equipment use.
• Maintain accurate records of care activities and communicate any changes in condition to senior staff.
• Adapt to varying shift patterns, including evenings and weekends, while ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to uphold care standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated compassion and dedication to child‑centred care.
• Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing care needs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families and healthcare professionals.

Required skills

• Experience with personal care and support for children with medical needs.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a home‑care setting.
