Bank Cook – Part‑time Kitchen Role

About the role
Join the culinary team at Chalgrove Care Home on a bank (zero‑hour) contract. You will prepare nutritious, tasty meals that meet individual dietary needs and bring comfort to residents each day.
Key responsibilities
- Create daily menus and prepare meals in line with dietary requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
- Support smooth kitchen operations, including stock control and equipment upkeep.
- Develop themed dining experiences to enhance resident wellbeing.
Required profile
- At least 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
- Experience in a professional kitchen and understanding of kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience with complex dietary requirements (desirable).
- Availability for day shifts and alternate weekends.

What we offer
- £13.50 per hour.
- Refer‑a‑friend scheme – earn up to £1,000.
- No evening shifts and every other weekend off.
